East Hollywood High School Credit Recovery Program

Northridge Learning Center


  1. May be used for a failed course AND/OR original credit
  2. Visit the center located at:   
    3650 W 9800 S in South Jordan OR
    140 W 2100 S in Salt Lake City
  3. Cost is $45 per .25 packet; some packets receive pass/fail while others receive a letter grade 
  4. Hours are M-Th, 1-6pm (not open Fridays)
  5. All testing is done at NLC
  6. Packets may be purchased online for additional fees; Go to www.northridgelearningcenter.com


BYU Independent Study


  1. May be used for a failed course AND/OR original credit
  2. Cost range is $48 to $142 depending on the course; most courses are worth .50 credit
  3. Go to www.is.byu.edu to see the high school course offerings and register
  4. Create a BYU NetID; include CCHS ACT Code (450-073) when registering so your counselor is aware of credit 
  5. We suggest you order a paper/pencil version vs. web version - both allow for electronic submissions
  6. All courses receive a letter grade and must be completed within a year
  7. Tests must be taken at a BYU test site or with an approved proctor


Utah Online School


  • Students may be enrolled full or part time and make take UOS courses in addition to those at their boundary school.
  • AP, concurrent enrollment, honors & computer coding courses.
  • 90% course completion rate.
