East Hollywood Night School
Introduction
More than ever, the pandemic taught us that our students have unique needs that need to be addressed and accommodated. Some of our students are breadwinners for their family, some are depended upon for childcare, some suffer from severe anxiety that prevents them from attending traditionally and some need to move on to further training. Therefore, in a constant effort to support our student's unique situations and needs, East Hollywood is implementing night school for those who qualify, beginning the school year of 2022.
Who Qualifies for Night School?
Any senior (or junior missing at least 6 credits) that is:

I'm In, Now What?
You will attend in person M-TH from 3-7pm. During this time you will be working on credit recovery and credit required for graduation through Limitless Transition's Arena program. Attendance is mandatory and failure to attend will result in being removed from the program.
During the day you will be working, babysitting, or attending a vocational technology program. Your responsibilities during the day may qualify for graduation credits and that will be determined case by case as each situation is different. Your hours may also be used for citizenship points. You will turn in your work hours, *babysitting report and/or progress in your ATC(school/training) program weekly
At the end of every 3 weeks, your standing will be re-evaluated. In order to be in good standing, time cards must be turned in, parents must sign a time card verifying babysitting hours, or you need to be able to show progress in your vocational program. We will also review your attendance at night school. Night school attendance will follow East Hollywood's normal day protocols. Night school will also follow the same general year schedule as East Hollywood High School.
*Students who qualify for night school through babysitting will be required to take child development as their first class and fill out a daily report that will include hours worked, activities that you did throughout the day, etc.
